Southern Ocean Environment Link

Welcome to the Southern Ocean Environmental Link (SOEL), a registered charity based in the picturesque town of Queenscliff, Victoria. Nestled at the doorstep of Southern Port Phillip Bay, our organization is fortunate to be surrounded by the rich biodiversity of this area.

At SOEL, we are dedicated to enhancing the health of our local environment and contributing to the overall well-being of The Great Southern Reef. We achieve this by actively collaborating with local community groups, organisations, and businesses. Our focus areas include research, conservation, and education, and we strive to create a positive impact through community engagement.

Proudly working alongside Coastcare, DEECA, and Parks Victoria, SOEL facilitates marine projects that involve community members in citizen scientist initiatives. We believe in the power of collective action and the importance of fostering a sense of stewardship for our natural resources.

If you share our passion for environmental conservation and would like to get involved, we invite you to join us as a volunteer. To learn more about our ongoing projects and opportunities, please reach out to Brooke at info@soel.org.au. Together, let's make a meaningful difference in the Southern Ocean's ecosystem and create a sustainable future for our community and beyond.
